In July this year, the State Emergency Service together with the Bank Lviv Charitable Foundation East Europe Foundation launched a project to prepare identifiers for explosive objects, the purpose of which is to increase awareness of mine safety among the population.
During this time, about 400 people passed through short-term programs, including police, forestry, utilities and farmers of the communities of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions who were under occupation.
Thanks to the preparation and established cooperation with the State Emergency Service, the identifiers conducted more than 200 information events with the population on mine hazards and transmitted more than 150 reports on the detection of explosive objects to the SES staff. Each such GNP is the saved lives of our citizens.
The project is underway, and by the end of the year it is planned to prepare about 380 more identifiers from Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.
